Happy to see new gardeners settling in to the Community Garden. We are fortunate to have a wonderful garden centre nearby with vegetable and herb starters available now. GardenWorks has a Colwood location and is an inspirational place to get ideas for your plot. The staff there are really friendly and helpful.
With temperatures up to 7 degrees at night, it is safe to get tomatoes started. Tomatoes have always done well here in Havenwood Garden, with summers full of sunny days. Salads with fresh tomatoes are perfect…:-)

Thanks Ian. That was a helpful little video. I started some tomato plants from seeds so they are still small but hopefully they will be mighty.
